Temperatures across the UAE are forecast to reach 40°C on Tuesday as a seasonal heatwave shifts atmospheric conditions in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) confirmed that while daytime peaks will hit the forty-degree mark, coastal areas may experience slightly lower maximums ranging between 34°C and 38°C. Humidity and Visibility Conditions Relative humidity is expected to surge during the night and into Wednesday morning, particularly over coastal and internal regions. Forecasters warn of potential mist and light fog formation in these areas, which may briefly impact road visibility during the early commute. Humidity levels are projected to fluctuate between 25% and 85% depending on the proximity to the shoreline. Wind Speeds and Marine Safety The NCM report indicates light to moderate winds, primarily blowing from the North-East and South-East. Wind speeds are expected to remain between 10 km/h and 25 km/h, occasionally reaching gusts of 35 km/h.
