UAE Weather Forecast: Temperatures Rise as Fair Skies Stabilize Through Weekend

The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts fair skies and a gradual temperature hike across the UAE through the weekend.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts a period of fair to partly cloudy skies across the UAE this weekend, accompanied by a gradual rise in temperatures. Resident and visitors can expect light to moderate winds, predominantly from the Northeast and Southeast, reaching speeds of up to 30km/h at times. Projected Temperature Increases Coastal and internal regions will see temperatures climb into the mid-30s Celsius as the weekend approaches. Humidity levels are expected to rise during the night and early morning hours over some coastal and internal areas, with a probability of mist formation. Fog alerts remain a possibility for drivers on arterial roads connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai during the early morning windows. Sea Conditions and Wind Speed The Arabian Gulf will remain relatively calm, with wave heights ranging from slight to moderate. Similarly, the Oman Sea will experience slight sea conditions. Wind speeds are expected to fluctuate between 10 to 20 km/h, occasionally hitting 30 km/h, which is unlikely to cause significant disruptions to maritime activities or outdoor events.
