Government data indicates the sector now contributes approximately Dh4 billion annually to Dubai’s economy alone, supported by a network of venues capable of hosting elite competitions across football, cricket, and golf. Infrastructure and Venue Capacity The nation’s sports ecosystem is anchored by established facilities including the Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Sports City complex, and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. These venues are supported by a logistics network that includes two world-leading airlines and a hotel inventory exceeding 180,000 rooms.
