Global supply chains are demonstrating incredible momentum. Logistics leader Kuehne+Nagel has officially upgraded its full-year 2026 operating profit forecast following strong Q2 financial results, driven by booming technology shipments and group-wide artificial intelligence integration.

In a major vote of confidence for global trade, Kuehne+Nagel International AG—one of the world's premier freight forwarding and supply chain management groups—has raised its full-year financial outlook. Driven by an exceptional second quarter, the Swiss-headquartered logistics giant announced that it now expects full-year 2026 recurring Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) to reach between CHF 1.35 billion and CHF 1.55 billion ($1.66B to $1.91B). The upgraded guidance easily surpassed median financial analyst estimates, which had pegged full-year operating profit closer to CHF 1.41 billion. For Q2, the group recorded an 8% year-over-year increase in net turnover to CHF 6.6 billion, while overall operating profit (EBIT) climbed 11% to CHF 381 million. A major engine of this growth was the company's Air Logistics division, which posted a staggering 35% increase in EBIT to CHF 154 million. Industry analysts noted that rapid global expansion in artificial intelligence, semiconductor manufacturing, and cloud computing infrastructure created heavy demand for high-value air freight services.
