Dubai Investments Sets May 15 Deadline for DIP IPO Decision

Dubai Investments PJSC sets a mid-May deadline to finalize the potential public listing of its flagship industrial park subsidiary.
Dubai Investments PJSC will finalize its decision regarding an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for its flagship Dubai Investments Park (DIP) subsidiary before May 15, 2024. The board of directors is currently evaluating the potential listing as part of a broader strategy to unlock value from its industrial and residential real estate portfolio. Monetizing Industrial Assets DIP is a mixed-use industrial, commercial, and residential complex spanning 2,300 hectares. Currently, the park hosts over 4,500 companies and a residential population exceeding 120,000 people. Khalid Bin Kalban, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Investments, confirmed that the company has appointed advisors to study the feasibility and valuation of the subsidiary. A listing would likely occur on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), following a series of successful state-linked and private IPOs in the emirate over the last 24 months. The developer has not yet confirmed the exact percentage of the company to be floated, though standard DFM regulations typically require a minimum 25% stake for public offerings.
