Arab Youth Centre opens first international branch in Jordan to boost regional skills

The Arab Youth Centre and Jordan’s Crown Prince Foundation have opened a new permanent facility in Amman to boost regional entrepreneurship.
The Arab Youth Centre (AYC) opened its first permanent international branch in Amman, Jordan, on Thursday, 20 August, marking the first time the UAE-based institutional model has been established outside the Emirates. The facility is the result of a long-term strategic partnership with Jordan’s Crown Prince Foundation (CPF). Regional Expansion and Partnerships The new centre will be managed locally by the Crown Prince Foundation, utilizing the methodologies, research, and regional networks developed by the AYC in Abu Dhabi. The launch follows a 2019 memorandum of understanding between the two entities and coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Crown Prince Foundation. H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre, stated that the opening represents a new phase in joint Arab youth action. He noted that Jordan was selected as the first expansion site due to the strong bilateral ties between the two nations. Focus on Innovation and Technology The facility includes applied laboratories, business incubation units, and collaborative workspaces. Programs will target specific sectors including leadership, technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and youth research.
