Agthia Group reports a 9.6% revenue jump to AED 3.9 billion for the first nine months of 2026 as net profit triples despite regional supply chain pressures.

Agthia Group PJSC reported a 9.6 per cent increase in revenue to AED 3.9 billion for the first nine months of 2026, driven by a sharp acceleration in third-quarter earnings despite rising regional supply chain pressures. The Abu Dhabi-listed food and beverage company saw its net profit for the nine-month period nearly triple to AED 154.6 million, up from the previous year. Quarterly Performance and Revenue Drivers In the third quarter of 2026, Agthia’s revenue grew 14.4 per cent year-on-year to AED 1.3 billion. This figure included AED 104.7 million in one-off sales; excluding these, underlying growth stood at 5.2 per cent. The group’s EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) rose 39 per cent to AED 123.1 million during the quarter, while net profit reached AED 33.2 million, reversing a low prior-year base affected by impairment charges in its snacking division. For the full nine-month period ending in September, EBITDA climbed 36.7 per cent to AED 433.6 million. The company reported a significant improvement in its financial position, with free cash flow reaching AED 212.1 million, a reversal from an outflow during the same period in 2025. Net debt-to-EBITDA improved to 2.4x, down from 2.9x in December 2025, with cash reserves totaling AED 536.2 million. Strategic Shifts and Regional Pressures The results follow an official announcement on Wednesday, 4 November, regarding the company's Q3 financial performance. Khalifa Sultan Al Suwaidi,…
