The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority shuttered Yummy Indian Bite restaurant on Saturday following repeated hygiene and storage violations.

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has issued an administrative closure order for the 'Yummy Indian Bite' restaurant in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, 18 July. The facility, which held commercial license number CN-2895690, was shut down for repeated food safety violations that posed a direct risk to public health. Persistent Hygiene Failures According to the official report from ADAFSA, inspectors identified multiple high-risk infractions during recent site visits. Key violations included improper temperature control for food storage and the presence of insects in food preparation and storage areas. The authority confirmed that the establishment had received three previous warnings and a final notice to rectify its technical and hygienic conditions before the closure was enforced. The decision to terminate operations at the venue, located in Abu Dhabi city, follows a series of unsuccessful attempts by the management to meet the safety standards mandated by the UAE capital's food inspectors. ADAFSA stated that the facility was unable to ensure the basic cleanliness of its tools and preparation surfaces, leading to an immediate suspension of its license.
