WCT Holdings secures RM926 million infrastructure contract in Abu Dhabi

Malaysian group WCT Holdings will deliver road and utility networks for the North Yas development under a 39-month contract.
WCT Holdings Berhad, through its subsidiary WCT Berhad (Dubai Branch), has secured a RM926.4 million (approximately AED 760 million) contract for infrastructure development in Abu Dhabi. The contract was awarded by Miral Property Brokerage LLC for works located in the North Yas area. Project Scope and Timeline The construction mandate covers the expansion of residential infrastructure and utility networks. Specific works include site clearance, earthworks, and the construction of road networks and potable water systems. WCT is also tasked with developing sewerage, irrigation, and electrical telecommunication grids across the site. Work on the North Yas project is scheduled for completion within 39 months from the commencement date. This award adds to WCT’s existing portfolio in the UAE, where the Malaysian firm has previously operated as a civil engineering contractor for major urban developments.
