The United Arab Emirates is positioning its "Zero Government Bureaucracy" (ZGB) model as a global framework to address the employment needs of 1.2 billion young people. The initiative, which mandates a radical reduction in administrative complexity, aims to provide a blueprint for governments to accelerate job creation by removing regulatory hurdles that stifle private sector growth. Eliminating 2,000 Procedures Under the ZGB mandate, UAE federal entities are required to cancel at least 2,000 government procedures and reduce the time taken for all services by 50% before the end of 2024. This directive focuses on the total elimination of "unnecessary requirements," rather than mere optimization.
