The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Monday warned of rising temperatures reaching 46°C in internal regions of the UAE, accompanied by high humidity levels and dust-laden winds. Residents should expect hazy conditions as wind speeds reach 40 km/h, reducing horizontal visibility in open areas. Thermal peaks and humidity Mercury levels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expected to peak at 40°C and 41°C respectively on Monday afternoon. Internal areas face the highest thermal stress with a maximum of 46°C, while coastal regions and islands will experience slightly lower temperatures ranging between 35°C and 39°C. Humidity levels will surge overnight and into Tuesday morning, reaching 85% in coastal zones and 80% in the interior, creating muggy conditions during the early hours. Low clouds are projected to appear over the east coast by Monday morning, with the possibility of convective clouds forming over eastern mountains by afternoon. These formations may lead to localized rainfall in mountainous terrain near the Oman border.
