Modon Holding and Emaar lead the market as the country's top 10 developers record Dh113.7 billion in domestic sales during the first half of 2026.
The UAE’s top 10 property developers generated Dh113.7 billion in domestic sales during the first half of 2026, according to financial results and market data released on Thursday, 13 August. Modon Holding and Emaar accounted for nearly 40% of the total, recording Dh45.4 billion in combined UAE transactions. Modon and Emaar lead market volume Modon Holding secured the top position with Dh23 billion in Abu Dhabi property sales. The developer’s total sales across all markets reached Dh26 billion, a 2.6-fold increase compared to the previous year. Company performance was driven by the launch of Hudayriyat Golf Estates and the sell-out of Tara Park on Reem Island. Group revenue rose 40% year-on-year to Dh9.2 billion. Emaar ranked second with Dh22.4 billion in UAE-based sales. Including international operations, Emaar’s total property sales reached Dh26.6 billion for the six-month period ending 30 June. The company reported a massive revenue backlog of Dh164.9 billion from projects under development, marking a 13% increase from the previous year. DAMAC rounded out the top three with Dh16 billion in sales. Aldar and mid-tier performance Aldar Properties ranked fourth, recording Dh9.5 billion in UAE development sales. International buyers and expatriate residents represented 80% of Aldar’s domestic transactions, totaling Dh7.6 billion.
