Temperatures across the UAE are forecast to peak at 47°C this weekend as the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warns of rising heat and deteriorating visibility due to blowing dust. The mercury will climb most sharply in internal regions, while coastal areas will experience high humidity levels reaching up to 80% during the night and early morning hours. Rising Temperatures and Humidity According to the NCM, the weather will remain fair to partly cloudy in general. Maximum temperatures in internal areas are expected to fluctuate between 43°C and 47°C, while coastal regions and islands will see highs between 39°C and 44°C. The lowest temperatures in the mountains could drop to 23°C at night. Humidity will peak between 60% and 80% along the coast, potentially leading to mist formation in some western areas on Sunday morning. Wind Speeds and Dust Alerts The weekend will be characterized by light to moderate winds, primarily southeasterly to northeasterly. However, wind speeds are expected to freshen at times, reaching up to 40 km/h.
