The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather warning as temperatures are forecast to hit 47°C today, accompanied by blowing dust and significant humidity across several regions. The spike in mercury levels marks a period of intense heat affecting internal and coastal areas throughout the week. Rising Temperatures and Regional Variations Internal regions will bear the brunt of the heat, with thermometers expected to peak between 43°C and 47°C. Coastal areas and islands will see slightly lower maximums, ranging from 38°C to 43°C, while the mountainous regions will remain cooler with highs between 30°C and 36°C. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to lows of 29°C in internal parts and 31°C along the coast. Humidity levels are projected to rise significantly during the night and early morning hours, reaching up to 85% in coastal zones and 80% in internal areas.
