The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has recorded temperatures peaking at 47°C in the UAE’s internal regions, warning residents of a sharp increase in humidity levels that will likely trigger fog formation early next week. The spike in moisture is expected to significantly reduce horizontal visibility on coastal and internal roads during the late night and early morning hours. Rising Temperatures and Humidity Levels According to the daily weather bulletin, maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 43°C and 47°C in internal areas, while coastal regions and islands will see highs between 39°C and 44°C. Humidity levels are projected to surge, reaching up to 90% in some coastal sectors. This atmospheric shift creates the primary conditions for mist and dense fog, particularly from Sunday night through Monday morning.
