The United Arab Emirates has entered its hottest period of the year, with daytime temperatures officially climbing above 43°C across several regions. Data from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) confirms that July remains the peak month for heat intensity, driven by the extension of thermal lows from the Empty Quarter and the impact of the Indian Monsoon depression. Peak Temperatures and Regional Variations While coastal cities including Abu Dhabi and Dubai are recording average maximums between 42°C and 45°C, internal desert areas are frequently peaking near 50°C. The NCM reports that the mercury regularly exceeds these averages during the midday hours, specifically between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Humidity levels are also rising, with coastal stations recording relative humidity as high as 85% during the night and early morning, significantly increasing the heat index.
