Five UAE convoys carrying 800 tonnes of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials entered Gaza this week via the Al Arish logistics hub.

Five UAE humanitarian aid convoys comprising 75 trucks entered the Gaza Strip this week to deliver 800 tonnes of essential supplies. The shipment, part of the ongoing Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, included food, shelter materials, and medical aid to support Palestinians facing severe humanitarian conditions. Logistics operations in Al Arish The aid was processed through the UAE humanitarian logistics centre in Al Arish, Egypt. The facility operates an integrated system for receiving, sorting, and dispatching assistance to ensure a consistent flow of goods through the border. This latest delivery follows previous large-scale operations, including a recent dispatch of 74 trucks carrying 1,056 tonnes of relief. The timing of this delivery on Sunday, 23 August, coincides with a sustained push by the UAE to scale up its relief infrastructure. Total UAE aid to Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has now reached $3.12 billion, according to official data. The operation serves as the primary vehicle for the country's humanitarian response in the region, coordinating multiple land, sea, and air corridors. Expansion of relief efforts The UAE relief team in Gaza and Egypt continues to manage the logistics of these convoys to address urgent shortages of basic necessities.
