Major General Saleh Mohammed bin Megren Al Ameri, Commander of the UAE National Guard, met with Dr. Dieter Romann, President of the German Federal Police (Bundespolizei), in Berlin on Monday, 31 August to initiate a high-level security mission. The meeting serves as the start of an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany aimed at expanding bilateral law enforcement operations and tactical coordination. Strengthening Security Cooperation The visit follows a formal invitation from Dr. Romann to the UAE National Guard leadership. Discussions centered on joint security cooperation, focused on enhancing the exchange of expertise between the UAE National Guard and the Bundespolizei, Germany’s federal law enforcement agency under the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community.
