The UAE real estate market recorded its strongest ever start to a year during the first quarter of 2026, driven by high transaction volumes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Emerging data indicates that residential and commercial sales reached unprecedented levels, continuing a multi-year growth trajectory fueled by foreign investment and population growth. Transaction Volumes Hit New Highs In Dubai, the Land Department reported a double-digit percentage increase in total transaction value compared to the same period in 2025. Off-plan properties remained a primary driver of market activity, accounting for more than 50% of the total sales volume.
