The UAE has secured the top global position for the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) talent concentration, according to data from the 2024 AI Index Report. The ranking confirms that the Emirates is attracting specialized tech professionals at a faster rate than traditional global technology hubs. Global Leadership in Tech Talent The report, produced by Stanford University in collaboration with LinkedIn, tracks the ratio of AI-skilled members to the total workforce. The UAE’s growth in this metric outpaced major economies, including Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom. This surge is attributed to the country’s legal and professional frameworks designed to attract high-tier technical expertise. Current data indicates that the concentration of AI talent in the UAE has increased significantly since the 2017 launch of the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence.
