Top performers from the previous campaign debuted commemorative badges on their shirt sleeves, marking the first time such honours have been physically integrated into matchday kits in the league's history. Elite badges debut on pitch The initiative, which follows the annual UAE Pro League Awards held on 10 August, grants specific sleeve patches to winners across five categories. The recipients include the Golden Ball winner, the Golden Glove holder, the Fans’ Player of the Year, and the top scorers from both the ADNOC Pro League and the ADIB Cup. The badges are designed to remain on the players' jerseys throughout all official matches of the 2026-27 season. League officials stated the move aims to increase the visibility of individual achievements and provide sustained motivation for players to maintain high performance levels. By making these honours visible during live broadcasts and stadium appearances, the league expects to strengthen the identity of its top stars and foster greater competition for year-end accolades.
