UAE President Appoints Shayma Alawadhi as MoHRE Undersecretary

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a Federal Decree appointing Shayma Yousef Alawadhi as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE). Alawadhi will specifically oversee the portfolio for Labour Market Regulation and Development. Leadership Change at MoHRE The appointment, confirmed through a formal federal directive, places Alawadhi in a critical executive role within the ministry. Her remit includes the management of labour market policies, the development of regulatory frameworks, and the oversight of private sector employment standards across the UAE. The decree enters into force immediately upon issuance. Prior to this appointment, Alawadhi served as Assistant Undersecretary for Communication and International Relations at the same ministry.
