The UAE government has launched a new licensing and classification framework for all higher education institutions, managed by the Ministry of Education. This system is designed to enhance education quality, link academic programs directly to job market needs, and provide greater transparency for students and parents.
The UAE has implemented a new, more stringent licensing framework for universities, directly linking their accreditation to graduate employability and research output. Overseen by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and its Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), the system aims to elevate educational standards and ensure graduates possess skills aligned with the national economy. ## What changed?
