UAE leaders send condolences to Qatar Emir following family death

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a cable of condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, following the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani. The official message was dispatched on Monday, according to the state news agency WAM. Senior Leaders Dispatch Messages Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent similar cables to the Qatari Emir. The messages expressed sympathy to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar. The deceased was a member of the Qatari ruling family; his passing was announced by the Amiri Diwan in Doha earlier this week.
