The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has launched the nation’s first "Green Licence," a support framework providing sustainability-focused small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with resources valued at more than Dh400,000. Developed in partnership with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the initiative targets companies operating in circular economy sectors and green technology. Financial and Technical Support Packages The incentive package is structured into three primary categories to lower entry barriers for environmental startups. It includes business development support worth Dh220,000, specialized technical mentorship valued at Dh100,000, and networking and market visibility services worth approximately Dh80,000.
