ABU DHABI - The UAE Fuel Price Committee has officially approved the retail fuel prices for the month of September 2026, implementing rate adjustments that align domestic fuel costs with prevailing international energy market benchmarks. Announced on Monday, August 31, the revised prices take effect nationwide from Tuesday, September 1, across all fuel distribution networks operating throughout the seven Emirates, including ADNOC Distribution, ENOC, and Emarat. Under the approved schedule, petrol grades experienced a measured adjustment ranging between 5.56 percent and 5.87 percent compared to the previous month. Super "98" petrol has been priced at AED 3.80 per litre for September, rising from AED 3.60 per litre in August. Special "95" petrol - the most widely utilized fuel grade among private motorists across the country - will retail at AED 3.69 per litre, compared to AED 3.49 per litre during August. E-Plus "91" petrol has been set at AED 3.61 per litre, up from AED 3.41 per litre last month. Concurrently, Diesel fuel has been priced at AED 4.30 per litre, moving from AED 3.80 per litre in August. The monthly pricing determinations are calculated under the UAE's established, liberalized fuel pricing mechanism, which was introduced by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in August 2015.
