UAE Consulate to expand digital tools and job training for 1.7M Pakistanis

Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Muhammad Awn Chaudhry visited the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai on Thursday, 27 August, to review the delivery of consular services for the community. During the visit, the minister directed consulate officials to expand skills training and improve digital accessibility for the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE. Consular Service Review Minister Chaudhry, received by Consul General Hussain Muhammad, inspected various departments including passport processing, document attestation, and identity services. The minister held interactive sessions with staff to evaluate workload and response times, specifically addressing the needs of Pakistani citizens facing legal or emergency difficulties abroad. According to consulate officials, the focus of the review was to ensure services become more responsive to the specific requirements of the nearly 1.7 million Pakistanis residing in the UAE.
