SZGMC Launches Expanded Eid Al Adha Cultural Programme in Abu Dhabi

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center (SZGMC) has announced the launch of its expanded cultural programme for Eid Al Adha, marking the largest operational scale-up for the religious holiday in Abu Dhabi. The initiative includes extended visiting hours, specialized cultural tours, and enhanced logistical support to manage the high volume of worshippers and tourists expected at the site. Extended Cultural Tours and Evening Programmes Central to the programme is the "Sura" cultural tour, which allows visitors to explore the mosque’s architectural details and Islamic history. For the Eid period, the centre has introduced "Layali Al-Sura" (Evening Tours), enabling visitors to access the mosque during the night. These tours are designed to accommodate those who prefer to visit outside of peak daylight hours, with slots available until 11:30 PM.
