Sudan and UAE Exchange Accusations at UN Over Military Support in Conflict

Tensions flared at the UN as Sudan accused the UAE of arming the RSF, a claim the Emirates rejected as a distraction from the Sudanese army's failures.
A heated exchange took place at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Tuesday as Sudan and the United Arab Emirates traded sharp accusations regarding the source of weapons fueling the 14-month conflict. Sudan’s permanent representative to the UN, Al-Harith Idriss al-Harith, formally accused the UAE of providing military equipment to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a claim the UAE delegation categorically denied.
