Sparrow, the South Korean application security specialist, has secured new contracts in the UAE as part of a broader expansion into international markets including China and Malaysia. The deal involves the deployment of the company’s core software security testing solutions to government and corporate entities within the region. Software Security Expansion The subsidiary of Fasoo Group is focusing its regional operations on providing Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools. These systems are designed to detect vulnerabilities in software code during the development phase and while applications are running. The recent agreements in the UAE represent a strategic shift for the Seoul-based firm as it seeks to capture a larger share of the Middle Eastern cybersecurity market.
