Ski Dubai, operating under Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment and in strategic partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, has officially opened registration for the 17th edition of the iconic Ice Warrior Challenge. Set to take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Ski Dubai inside Mall of the Emirates, the endurance event challenges athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and corporate squads to conquer one of the world’s most unique indoor obstacle courses set against an authentic minus 4-degree Celsius alpine backdrop. Now in its seventeenth consecutive year, the Ice Warrior Challenge has evolved into a premier fixture on Dubai’s dynamic sporting calendar, showcasing the emirate's world-class indoor sports infrastructure and commitment to year-round community wellness. The upcoming edition invites male and female participants aged 15 to 60 to test their physical resilience, mental discipline, and tactical teamwork across an upgraded layout. The 2026 race features more than 20 gruelling physical obstacles distributed across the snow park’s inclines and packed powder. Competitors will be required to scale steep vertical rope walls, navigate freezing ice-water pools, sprint across high-resistance tyre tracks, traverse suspended monkey bars, and crawl beneath low-hanging cargo nets.
