The Sharjah Criminal Court has sentenced an Asian worker to one month in prison followed by deportation after he physically assaulted his manager. The incident occurred after the manager rejected the worker’s request for a salary increase. When the manager explained that a salary hike was not feasible at the time, the worker initiated a physical altercation.
