Air Arabia will launch a new non-stop flight service between Sharjah and Gdansk, Poland, starting on 14 December 2026. The low-cost carrier confirmed on Tuesday, 25 August, that the route will operate five times per week, connecting Sharjah International Airport to Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport. Expanding Polish Network Gdansk becomes the fourth Polish city in Air Arabia’s network. The airline already operates flights from Sharjah to Warsaw Chopin and Krakow, with a new service to Katowice also scheduled to begin in December. The addition of Gdansk is intended to facilitate direct travel for both business and leisure passengers between the UAE and Northern Poland. Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, stated that the new service is part of the airline's expansion across Europe, offering value-driven travel options. The five weekly flights are expected to support growing economic and tourism ties between the two nations. Economic Impact in Pomerania The new route is expected to provide a financial boost to the Pomerania region. Tomasz Kloskowski, President of the Management Board of Gdansk Airport, noted that direct connectivity will attract investors from the Middle East and support the local tourism industry.
