Sharjah launches Healthy Emirate expansion and digital platform for WHO compliance

Sharjah has officially launched the expansion phase of its Global Healthy Cities Programme for 2026–2028, introducing a new digital platform to track compliance with World Health Organisation (WHO) standards. The Executive Committee of the Sharjah Healthy Emirate Programme confirmed the move on Friday, 28 August, during its second meeting of the year. New Evidence Submission Platform Launched The committee, chaired by Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, announced the rollout of the Evidence Submission Platform. This unified tool will serve as the central repository for documenting data and measuring performance indicators across various government and private entities. The platform is designed to monitor completion rates and identify specific areas for improvement as the emirate seeks to meet global health requirements.
