A Sharjah-based Indian couple was discovered dead at their family home in Kerala, India, on Sunday, shortly before their scheduled return to the UAE. Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the deaths of the long-term residents of the Emirates. Investigation Launched in Kasaragod The deceased were identified as N.P. Gangadharan , 55, and his wife Shobha , 50. The couple, residents of the Uduma area in Kasaragod district, had traveled to India on a short visit to attend a family event. They were due to board a flight back to Sharjah from Mangaluru International Airport on Sunday evening. Local police confirmed that the bodies were found after family members grew concerned when the couple did not emerge from their room. Upon entering the premises, Gangadharan was found hanging, while Shobha was discovered unresponsive on the bed. Emergency services were notified, and the bodies were moved to a government hospital for forensic examination.
