Dubai-based artificial intelligence and communications strategist Shadi Dawi has been awarded a Doctorate of Business Administration with Premium Distinction from ESC Clermont School of Business in France , completing two years of intensive research focused on one of the most pressing challenges facing modern corporate communications: how organisations can responsibly govern content produced by generative artificial intelligence. Dawi's doctoral dissertation, titled “AI Truth: A Framework for Governing AI-Generated Content in UAE Corporate Communications,” examines the growing gap between the speed at which AI-generated content can now be produced and the systems organisations use to verify, review and govern that content. Generative AI is increasingly being used to draft press releases, executive statements, corporate messaging and crisis communications. While the technology has dramatically increased the speed of content production, Dawi's research argues that governance and verification mechanisms have not necessarily evolved at the same pace.
