The Saudi-led coalition destroyed three missile launchers on Friday following Houthi attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport that killed three citizens.

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen destroyed three Houthi missile launchers on Thursday, 8 October, following a series of attacks on Saudi Arabian civilian infrastructure. The coalition confirmed the operation on Friday, 9 October, releasing video footage through the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) showing strikes on truck-mounted launchers at three separate locations. Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al Maliki stated that the strikes also targeted a missile launch crew member at one of the sites. The military response was triggered by Houthi operations that resulted in fatalities and injuries within Saudi territory earlier that day. Al Maliki warned that any further targeting of civilians or civilian facilities would face decisive action. Casualties reported at Riyadh airport The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) confirmed that two separate attacks targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Thursday. According to GACA, three Saudi citizens were killed and several others, including both citizens and residents, sustained injuries. One of the strikes hit a Saudia aircraft while another damaged airport facilities. Emergency teams were deployed to the site immediately, and all injured individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
