Saudi-based artificial intelligence startup Think has secured $8 million in its latest funding round to accelerate its expansion across the GCC, the company announced on Wednesday, 15 July. The capital injection targets the development of generative AI solutions for the regional enterprise sector. Developing Local AI Solutions The funding round follows a period of rapid growth for the Riyadh-headquartered firm, which specializes in localized AI models designed for Arabic-speaking markets. Think plans to use the proceeds to scale its technical infrastructure and establish a physical presence in the UAE and Qatar by the end of 2026. The company’s core product suite offers large language models (LLMs) that prioritize data sovereignty and regional linguistic nuances. This capital raise occurs as Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC accelerate investment in the digital economy. National strategies in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia are driving demand for private-sector AI tools capable of automating government services and corporate operations.
