Russia industrial exports reach $58.8bn in H1 to meet annual targets

Russia’s Industry Minister Anton Alikhanov says the sector is on track to meet its $116.95 billion annual target for non-energy goods.
Russia’s non-resource and non-energy industrial exports reached $58.8 billion in the first half of 2026, positioning the sector to meet its year-end trade targets for manufactured goods. The figures were released by Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov on Friday, 4 September, during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok. The Russian government has established a total non-resource export target of $155.25 billion for the current year. Industrial sectors are expected to account for $116.95 billion of that total. According to data cited by the TASS news agency, the H1 performance represents approximately 50% of the annual industrial target. Key Growth Sectors Alikhanov identified chemical products, specifically mineral and chemical fertilizers, as primary drivers of the export volume. Metallurgy, precious metals, pharmaceuticals, and light industry also recorded strong performance. The minister noted that the growth extends to consumer goods, including perfumes and cosmetics, as Russian manufacturers expand their reach into international markets. To support this expansion, the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry has integrated regional export support centers into a unified system.
