Research Science Investment Awards 5 Million MAD to Morocco Reading Champions

Research Science Investment (RSI) concluded the latest cycle of the National Reading Programme (NRP) in Morocco, honoring winners during a formal ceremony in Rabat. The initiative, held in collaboration with Morocco’s Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, distributed a total prize pool of 5 million Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) to students and educational professionals across the kingdom. Four Dimensions of Competition The programme operates across four distinct categories designed to embed reading habits within the Moroccan educational system. The "Diamond Student" category awarded the top-performing primary and secondary school pupils, while the "Enlightened Scholar" segment focused on university-level participants. Educational staff were recognized under the "Creative Teacher" category, and the "Reading Institution" award focused on schools and libraries that implemented the most effective literacy frameworks.
