Record-breaking Dubai summit to tackle AI and misinformation in regional media

Information ministers from Egypt, Syria, Bahrain, Jordan, and Lebanon will lead the Arab Media Summit 2026 in Dubai on 15-17 September to address the technological and geopolitical shifts disrupting the regional media landscape. The Organising Committee confirmed on Tuesday, 1 September, that the upcoming event will be the largest edition in the summit’s history. Regional Leaders Converge in Dubai The delegation of decision-makers includes Diaa Rashwan, Egypt’s Minister of State for Information; Dr. Khaled Zaarour, Syria’s Minister of Information; and Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, Bahrain’s Minister of Information. They will be joined by Paul Morcos, Lebanon’s Minister of Information, and Dr. Mohammad Momani, Jordan’s Minister of Government Communication.
