RAK Medical & Health Sciences University expands specialized healthcare programs

RAK Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) is expanding its academic capacity to address the increasing demand for qualified medical professionals across the UAE. Established in 2006 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the institution operates as a specialized hub for healthcare training in the Northern Emirates. Academic structure and accreditation The university comprises four constituent colleges: the RAK College of Medical Sciences, the RAK College of Dental Sciences, the RAK College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the RAK College of Nursing. Each institution offers undergraduate and select postgraduate programs accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) under the UAE Ministry of Education. The curriculum is designed to meet federal licensing standards required for practice within the UAE healthcare system. Currently, the university hosts over 1,300 students representing more than 50 nationalities.
