According to a report by Gulf Times on Sunday, 2 August, the state is now focusing on diversified revenue streams through retail, high-end wellness, and international sporting events to counter seasonal fluctuations. Infrastructure and sector integration The current phase of development involves a multi-front expansion where hospitality, transportation, and retail sectors operate under a unified national agenda. Qatar Tourism data indicates that the country welcomed more than 4 million visitors in 2023, and officials are now targeting 6 million annual arrivals by 2030. This growth is supported by the expansion of Hamad International Airport and the continued development of the Lusail district, which serves as a primary hub for both leisure and business travelers.
