PureHealth and the Family Development Foundation debut Healthy Horizons to provide preventive screenings and AI-driven health support for Emirati seniors.

PureHealth and the Family Development Foundation (FDF) launched the Healthy Horizons initiative on Tuesday, 18 August, to provide preventive care and digital health tools to Emirati senior citizens across Abu Dhabi. Preventive Screenings and Clinical Support The program, delivered in collaboration with the Emirates Foundation and Active Abu Dhabi, integrates specialist-led workshops with free preventive screenings and guided physical activity. Services are provided through PureHealth entities including SEHA, SEHA Clinics, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), and SAKINA. The initiative focuses on early risk detection and chronic disease management for older adults, covering geriatric medicine, vision health, sleep quality, and mental wellbeing. Participants are given direct pathways into PureHealth’s clinical network to ensure continuity of care. The program also includes assisted digital onboarding to the Pura app, an AI-powered platform designed to help seniors manage appointments and access health services remotely. Strategic Expansion in Abu Dhabi Fatima Aziz Al Marzouqi, Social Clubs Officer at Barakat Al Dar (part of the FDF), stated that the initiative aims to make healthcare access faster and more responsive to the specific needs of the elderly.
