The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Dubai has announced a specialized basic life support and first aid training session scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 2024. The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Philippine Emergency Response Team (PERT) – UAE Chapter, is designed to equip Filipino expatriates with critical emergency intervention skills. Training focus and emergency protocols The training will take place at the Philippine Consulate grounds in Al Qusais, Dubai, starting at 8:00 AM. Participants will undergo practical instruction in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) usage, and basic wound management. The curriculum is specifically tailored to address common household and workplace emergencies, focusing on immediate response protocols before professional medical services arrive. The session is part of a broader series of community-focused events coinciding with the 126th Philippine Independence Day and the 25th Migrant Workers’ Day.
