OMODA & JAECOO Introduces Intelligent Valet Parking Technology for UAE Drivers

OMODA & JAECOO is bringing its Super Intelligent Valet Parking technology, known as SIVP, closer to UAE motorists as part of the automotive brand’s expanding intelligent mobility strategy. Designed to address common parking challenges, the technology allows drivers to leave their vehicle at a convenient location within a supported parking facility. Through a dedicated mobile application, the vehicle can then be assisted in finding a suitable space, completing the parking manoeuvre and returning to a designated pick-up point when requested. The system is intended to offer greater convenience in locations such as shopping centres, hotels, underground garages and large multi-level parking facilities. It could be particularly relevant in the UAE during the summer, when walking long distances across outdoor parking areas can be uncomfortable. How the intelligent parking system works Unlike conventional parking assistance features that primarily support the driver during the final manoeuvre, SIVP is designed to assist across a broader part of the parking journey. Within compatible parking environments, the system can navigate the facility, assess available spaces, complete parking manoeuvres and later assist the vehicle in returning to a specified collection point.
