The regulator has ordered an immediate halt to the use of the specific kitchen appliance across the Sultanate. Defective lid mechanism identified The CPA identified a technical defect in the kettle’s lid, which can unexpectedly open while the water is boiling or during pouring. This failure allows steam or boiling water to escape, posing a direct threat of thermal burns. The recall affects the Zwilling Enfinigy model, a popular high-end appliance manufactured by the German brand Zwilling J.A. Henckels. Technical inspections confirmed that the locking mechanism fails to secure the lid under high pressure or heat.
