Local residents and authorities captured the animal after it disrupted morning prayers at an outdoor musalla in Bahla.
An escaped bull disrupted Eid Al Adha prayers in the Wilayat of Bahla, Oman, on Sunday morning, charging through a crowd of worshippers gathered for the holiday service. The animal broke loose from its restraints nearby and entered the outdoor prayer ground (musalla) as the congregation was seated. Panic at the Musalla Witnesses reported that the bull ran through the rows of worshippers, causing immediate panic. Video footage circulating on social media shows the large animal charging at high speed, narrowly missing several individuals. While many worshippers managed to scramble out of the path of the animal, the sudden movement led to a brief stampede in specific sections of the prayer area. Local residents and owners eventually managed to corner the bull and regain control of the animal. Reports from the scene indicate that while several individuals sustained minor bruises and scrapes during the commotion, no life-threatening injuries or fatalities were recorded.
