The deal marks the 26th humanitarian intervention facilitated by the UAE since the conflict began, bringing the total number of released captives to 7,997. Humanitarian mediation milestone The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the exchange as a constructive humanitarian step toward de-escalation. The ministry stated that the UAE’s diplomatic involvement serves to enhance the prospects for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis. This latest exchange saw 103 prisoners released from each side, according to official data released by the mediation team.
