NCM Forecasts 49°C Temperatures and High Humidity for UAE Eid Al Adha Break

National Centre of Meteorology warns of intense heat and potential rain in eastern regions during the holiday.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather advisory for the Eid Al Adha holiday, forecasting temperatures up to 49°C and significant humidity across the UAE. Residents planning outdoor activities are advised to monitor weather conditions as heat levels peak in internal regions. Peak Temperatures and Humidity The NCM expects fair to partly cloudy conditions through the break. Mercury levels in internal areas will range from 45°C to 49°C, while coastal regions and islands will see temperatures between 40°C and 45°C. Mountainous zones will remain cooler, with highs between 32°C and 38°C. Humidity is expected to surge during the night and early morning hours, particularly over coastal and internal areas, with levels potentially reaching 90%. Light to moderate winds, blowing at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and reaching up to 40 km/h, may cause blowing dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility in open areas.
